Toula's
Toula's is a beautiful boutique located in Athens, GA offering patrons unique products for the home, garden and gifts. Their primary goal for their web site was to build brand awareness, promote select products, and generate traffic to the showroom. To meet these goals I designed a site that coneys Toula's refined yet casual atmosphere. The soft color palette and informal copy make the site as welcoming as the in-store experience, while the serif type and etched imagery create a sense of nostalgia and elegance.
A blog entitled &quo;Things We Love&quo; allows the owner to share his passion for his products with his customers at a moments notice. The &quo;Gift Ideas&quo; section promotes featured products, and lets customers share with friends and family their desires via a &quo;tell a friend&quo; feature.
I had the pleasure of conceptualizing, planning, designing, and developing all aspects of this project, including the web standards compliant structure and presentation, the Ajax-powered &quo;tell a friend utility&quo;, and optimized the site for search engines.
