My Random Life
My Random Life is a twist on the traditional MoBlog popularized with the advent of camera phones. My Random Life depicts moments of my life sliced into thin strips and reassembled into a timeline, blending time into a landscape of color. The idea of seeing one's own life as an ever changing organism comprised of snapshots with a life of its own is, for me, a curious and beautiful thought. The piece was created using two custom server-side applications; one for receiving and storing photos, and another for randomly deconstructing and reconstructing the imagery into an ordered timeline.
The absence of photos on the far right where photos from the late night hours would be placed illustrates that I am not much of a night owl.
